Latest version

The latest version of Realmware’s BF4 Settings Editor is 1.1. For your convenience, there are two download packages available for you to choose from.

    Setup exe(recommended)
    This executable file will install the program on your computer. It will add shortcuts to your Desktop and Start Menu, and you will be able to uninstall it later from the Control Panel in the usual way. It will also download the .NET Framework 4.5 prerequisite for you if you do not already have it.

  • Zip archive
    This is a .zip archive file which contains all the necessary files for the program. With this option, you will not need to install the program through a setup wizard; instead, you can just extract the files to whatever directory you like, and run the program from there. If you choose this option, you will need to make sure that you have the .NET Framework 4.5 installed on your own.

    I just wanted to ask if it is allowed to use the bf4-settings-editor from [Removed] ?

    so I could change my settings outside the game.

    We now have had more time to review this internally and would like to let you know that it is okay to edit this file, either with notepad directly or with the aforementioned editor (given its current functionality).

    Please note however, that you are editing at your own risk! Especially after any patch, you may want to revert back to default in case you notice any weirdness.

    Even if this isnt editing the game content itself and simply the config files its seen as an illegal tool?

    EAguy what if i go here C:UsersuserDocumentsBattlefield 4settings and open the PROFSAVE_profile with notepad and edit the settings, is this deemed » an unauthorized program» because that’s basically all that program does that he posted lol

    Completely agree with you Sextoy, I guess they should put some kind of protection on it to stop notepad being able to read it too.

    This is truely great news, just need to make sure having the latest version and always back up the settings before modification.

    Now I can check and change key bindings and other settings before entering the game easily.
