Heroes of Might & Magic III — HD Edition
I start the game and this show up :
The program has encountered a undefined behavior, see the log
and this is the log i found
DOTEMU_ASSERT(SDL_SetRenderTarget(sdlRenderer, sdlScreenTextureHD->getSDLTexture(), 0) == 0) failed at srcsdlgraph.cpp, line: 470
What should i do
That function simply sets the texture to use for rendering. I would think the only reason it would fail is if the texture does not exist.Did you guys verify your game files.
Maybe it did not install the C Reditributables that contain the libraries for that function.
Try going to the HOMM 3 HD directory and manually installing them.
Steam/SteamApps/common/Heroes of Might and Magic III — HD Edition/_CommonRedist/vcredist/2012 if you have a 32 bit OS run vcredist_x86.exe if you have a 64 bit OS run vcredist_x64.exe

The launcher can’t find file GAME_DIRECTORY, Debug, Era, log.txt, so you have to create it manually:
- Navigate to game directory
- Create Debug folder, navigate inside
- Create Era folder, navigate inside
- Create log.txt
- After that if error occurs set h3era.exe compatibility to Windows 8.
(Example: Game DirectoryDebugEralog.txt)
