This guide will guide to you through how to upload long images to the artwork or screenshot showcase. Special thanks for MightyG3 for the discovery of this exploit which completely changed steam profile artworks.
You must be at least Level 10 on Steam to show an artwork/screenshot showcase.
DO NOT upload images with a w >[steam.design] will automatically crop your steam background to the correct dimensions.
Don’t forget to please carefully read each step to avoid errors and DO THEM IN ORDER.
Open this link in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Select your artwork under Choose File. Your artwork should appear on right side of the page.
Right click anywhere on the page, click inspect/inspect element then go to the ‘Console’.

FireFox Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+K
Firefox only: after opening the console, MANUALLY type in «allow pasting » without quotation marks and then remove it (you do not need to press enter).
By default Firefox does not allow you to paste codes into the console and this disables that.
Paste ONE of these codes into the console and hit enter. Only one of these codes need to be used, not both.
Now simply give it a title and tick that «I certify that I created this artwork» box, then «Save and Continue».
IMPORTANT: On the artwork selector, your artwork will appear to be a thin black line. That is perfectly fine and it means the code worked, when you select the artwork it should look normal after loading.

Существуют шаблоны для вашей иллюстрации. Любое ваше изображение должно быть размером 150x150px (в один «квадрат»). Таким образом, цельное изображение должно быть в длину 150*4=600px+12px=612px — длина и 150px ширина. 12px уходят на пространство между изображениями. Далее просто делите на ровные квадраты. Вы можете редактировать / загружать изображения с помощью графических редакторов: PaintNET, Adobe Photoshop (я предлагаю его) и т.д.. Если у вас возникли трудности можете посмотреть обучающее видео (ниже в руководстве).
Откройте браузер и сохраните этот шаблон на свой рабочий стол. Далее откройте в Photoshop`e свою гиф-анимацию и наложите это изображение сверху. Делите и сохраняйте.
Откройте: Страницу Загрузки Иллюстраций Steam в браузере. Затем нажмите правую кнопку мыши или клавишу F12 и выберите пункт «Просмотреть код элемента»/»Код элемента»(зависит от браузера); или зажмите комбинацию клавиш: ctrl+shift+c.
Перейдите в раздел «Console» и вставьте туда следующий код:
