My laptop is so slow to open, then I get an Error message «DLL flies could not open» can anyone help with this as online it only mentions «DLL file could not be found»

I’ll try to help. next time could you please include which .DLL it is , it will say what it is on the pop up message/warning.
Anyway , run it again and see what DLL is missing , write it down.
next , just google it and download it someplace specific so you can find it easily.
now , simply copy the file itself ( not a folder if it came in one , which it usually doesnt )
next paste it into the proper place.
I don’t know if you are running 32 or 64 bit so I cannot say for sure. ( always include your system specs too )
Anyway , it will go into one of these two folders depending on your system .
choice 1 ; open up C: folder , then WINDOWS folder , then paste into the SYSTEM32 folder
choice 2: same thing except yopu put it into the SYSWOW64 folder
90% of the time the sys32 is the way to go.
small exception here ->>> occasioanlly you may need the DLL inside the folder of the program requesting it. (like a modded game for example )
This is pretty rare. But feel free to slap a copy in there , it won’t hurt anything.
