Hey Guys! This is the very first Article on Creating Admin Panel in Asp.net Core MVC. We’ll divide this tutorial into parts & will cover almost every necessary & required feature of the Admin Panel.
Check out this Demo Application till Part 1 to 7. Role-Based Authorization will have separate code available.

Asp.net Core is one of the most versatile platforms from Microsoft. It’s a cross-platform framework completely redesigned to be Fast, Lightweight, Modern & Flexible. Good news is that anyone having knowledge of .Net Framework can also work on .Net Core. It also Includes MVC which is the recommended way for Web Application like Admin Panel.
Let’s see what we’ll cover in this Tutorial.

So, here’s the very first step of our Admin Panel.
Choosing Template
In my Admin Panel Tips, I have already recommended the performance over personalization. So don’t waste your time in designing the UI’s for the Admin Panel. There are many Free & Premium Template Available for Admin Panels. So I’ll recommend you guys to choose a Template & be focused on the performance of your Application.
There are many Free Templates Available, for this Tutorial, I’m going to use This Beautiful Admin Template by almasaeed.
I personally like AdminLTE & have developed many Admin Panels using this Template.
Next Step is to Clone or Download the .zip File.
Creating a Database
The database is used for storing our data. So, it’s time to create a database for your Admin Panel.
I’m going to use very simple Hospital Database with 4 Tables, “doctors”, “nurses”, “patients” & “admins”.
You can use the database of your Web or Mobile App for which you are developing your Admin Panel.
Here’s the Database I’m going to use with the name «hospital_db»
& from below, you can Download the SQL script for this database:
Create an Empty database as hospital_db.sql & import the above SQL Script.
I’m using this database because we’re developing Admin Panel for learning purpose. If you want to develop for your Website or Mobile App then you can use your database.
Now our database is ready & the next step is to create an Asp.net project & setup AdminLTE Template for our Admin Panel.

St Nicholas Hall
Hertford is actually where four rivers converge: the Beane, Rib, Mimram and Lee (or Lea) rivers all merge and join the River Thames at the Lee Navigation.
They were replaced by an elected bailiff and a council of burgesses in the 13th century. By 1605 the bailiff carried the title of mayor.
The earliest fortifications were recorded as earthworks built by Edward the Elder in 912 AD. At that time it was a protection against Viking raids.
Hertford Castle Grounds
Legend links the area with the Knights Templar and the Holy Grail.
King Henry II replaced the early burh with a stone castle which was surrounded and taken captive by Prince Louis of France in 1216. It was later a popular place for visiting royalty to stay and Edward IIs wife Queen Isabella, died there.
In 1563, the plague drove Parliament out of London and they met at Hertford Castle, showing its importance.
The railway to Hertford was opened in 1843.
Present Day Hertford
Hertford is an affluent town with an estimated 28, 000 inhabitants. The old town centre still has its mediaeval layout and many of the buildings have modern facades covering timber-framed buildings beneath.
Unusually, Hertford has no shopping mall and most of the High Street has specialist shops, boutiques, pubs and restaurants rather than the usual national retailers.
The town council meets in Hertford Castle gatehouse which dates back to 1463. Just behind Castle Hall the original motte or mound of the early Hertford Castle can be seen.
The town has many interesting buildings within its conservation area. It has the oldest Quaker Meeting House in the world, built in 1670. The Shire Hall, built by Robert Adam, dates back to 1779 and the Corn Exchange was built ar the former location of the old gaol.
Things to Do Around Hertford
Hertford Museum is located in a 17th century historic house and has a Jacobean-style knot garden.
Further afield Hatfield House is a large country estate which is open to the public. If you enjoy touring stately homes Knebworth House and its lovely garden is also well worth a visit.
