В этом году Baselworld многие известные марки встретили без новых моделей, однако это не означает, что выставка прошла совсем без сенсаций. Во всяком случае, марка Hublot показала столько всего интересного, что новые Big Bang MECA-10 могли бы и затеряться среди других новинок.

Выполненные в традиционном для Big Bang 45-мм корпусе (с водостойкостью до 100 м) MECA-10 представлены были в двух версиях: крупно-серийной титановой и лимитированной (всего 500 экз.) керамической в дизайне «all-black». Поверхность обеих подвергалась предварительной пескоструйной обработке для получения специфичной фактуры. Кроме того, керамические Big Bang MECA-10 марка официально приурочила с 10 годовщине фирменной концепции «all black».

Однако имеется у Big Bang MECA-10 кое-что поинтереснее, чем их красивый корпус. Модель получила новый скелетезированный часовой механизм HUB1201 с ручным подзаводом. Вот его как раз можно с уверенностью считать самой главной «фишкой» этих часов и одним из немногих сюрпризов Baselworld 2016.

Резерв хода HUB1201 — около 10 суток — сильный козырь, согласитесь, и вот вокруг него строится весь функционал механизма. Такой запас хода Big Bang MECA-10 обеспечивают две пружины, потому заводных барабанов у них тоже два и два индикатора запаса хода — почти обычный и совсем необычный.

Первый, как видим, сделан в виде традиционного счетчика с диском и выбитыми на нем трафаретными цифрами от 1 до 10, который переключается раз в сутки. А вторым индикатором фактически является расположенный в верхней части механизма элемент реечной системы с двумя зубчатыми секциями, который, когда пружина заведена, сдвинут до упора влево, и передвигается потом вправо по мере того, как заводная пружина разматывается.

Само собой, вы будете правы, если скажите, что 10 суток — это много. Действительно, в течение столь длительного периода времени энергия пружин не может быть одинаковой, потому в HUB1201 должен быть предусмотрен какой-то отдельный механизм корректировки точности хода.

Но у Big Bang MECA-10, похоже, такого механизма нет. Так что можно только предположить, что заводные пружины в них потенциально способны обеспечивать гораздо больше, чем 10 суток хода. И при снижении вращающего момента до определенного уровня, когда их энергии может быть недостаточно для поддержания точности механизма, он автоматически останавливается.

Функционал Big Bang MECA-10, конечно, можно назвать скромным. Ведь на их прозрачном циферблате кроме часов и минут отображаются только секунды (на субциферблате слева), плюс упомянутые нами индикаторы запаса хода. Но это если не учитывать, что HUB1201 состоит из 223 отдельных деталей, и буквально каждую из них в действии можно рассмотреть через прозрачные переднее и заднее сапфировые стекла. И смотреть, как работает это маленькое механическое чудо можно очень долго, в особенности если вам вообще нравятся произведения Hublot.

Ну и в завершение отметим, что Big Bang MECA-10 комплектуются резиновым ремнем, который оснащен специальной системой быстрой замены «One Click», которая, к слову, тоже стала еще одним событием выставки. В том смысле, что теперь у фирменной системы замены ремешков Hublot наконец-то появилось название — One Click. По состоянию на сейчас Big Bang MECA-10, как мы уже сказали, существуют в двух версиях: титановой 414.NI.1123.RX и керамической 414.CI.1110.RX. Стоимость их $19900 и $22000, соответственно.

Greetings, and welcome to the world of Hublot. This 45 millimeter titanium timepiece features a unique Hublot engineered, Hublot constructed 10 day power reserve caliper 1201. It’s expressed on the open dial side as well as the case back. Before we get into the details of the defining movement let’s talk about some of the accessories starting with the clasp.

The clasp, like the case itself, is rendered in titanium. Hublot marquis on the top, twin trigger release for positive disengagement and absolute security when closed. It features a clever titanium lower clasp body that not only features the Hublot H marquis, but also a strap minder system that tucks any excess underneath the clasp when buckled and obviates the need for awkward minder loops on the strap.

Rubber is a signature of Hublot, natural vulcanized rubber, strong and subtle, is a tradition dating back to the very first landmark Hublot models of the early 1980s. You’ll note this one is highly evolved, featuring a byplaner design. It also features horizontal striations to visually articulate it just a little bit more and add some aesthetic animus. Moreover, you’ll note the clever automotive seatbelt-inspired quick release system so you can rapidly swap out the strap to change the shoes perhaps with a leather. There’s a universe of accessory straps available on Hublot’s website as well as at your authorized Hublot dealer. You can also deeply clean the strap and the lugs with this detachment system. Plus it buckles back in as easily as it popped out with a reassuring click.

Normally Hublot tries to express the machine from the inside bringing it out with the modular construction of it’s case, fully expressing the titanium plates, the bezel gasket, the assembly’s grooves, the polymer insert, but in this case the main event is squarely within the bezel itself. Contained within the bezel with it’s H patter Hublot titanium assembly bolts, you can see the caliber 1201 of 223 parts, 24 pivot jewels, it has an extraordinary power reserve of 10 days. The power reserve is expressed in two different fashions. At 3 there’s an aperture that becomes visible and red when the watch reaches only two days of power reserve. Up to that point, and then in tandem for the last two days, there is a radial power reserve scale at 6.

As you wind the watch up to it’s maximum rated 10 days of power reserve you’ll note how the power reserve scale in the red aperture at 6 slowly revolves to reveal the skeletonized hour denoting the current number of days power stored in the watch’s twin parallel main spring barrels. It’s not so much the expression of the power reserves, clever though they are, as it is the design and theme of this movement that makes it unique.

Whereas many watches are designed to emulate the spirit and some of the design cues of the big boys toy, the automobile. This one is more literal because as so many of us enjoy during our youth, Meccano, or as most North Americans would better understand it, something like an erector set, is a longtime favorite of mechanically inclined youngsters. This watch expresses that in it’s beautiful punched out transverse bridges designed to recall that Meccano, or erector set, imagery.

You can see likewise how the twin mainspring barrels enabling that 10 day power reserve have both been evacuated and skeletonized, almost like the spokes of automotive Meccano or erector set wheels. You’ll note the materials innovations originally introduced in the Unico are maintained. As you can see the iridescent purplish-blue of the unlubricated silicon escapement, the pallet and the escape wheel, on it’s own separate portion of the bridge with it’s own separate pivot jewels, unlubricated for long wearing durability and high efficiency.

On the dial side you can again see how that mechanicalist that has been expressed in the form of a rack and pinion system at 12:00 that directly drives the power reserve scale at 3. You can see the flow of power from the rack and pinion through the two day power reserve featuring the inset Hublot H logo down to the 10 day power reserve wheel at 6. You can also see the fully expressed small seconds sitting atop the expressed balance, again, completely open. There’s nothing but a sapphire crystal between the owner of this watch and the beating heart of it’s movement. Again, if the automobile is the toy for big boys, this is also the toy for big boys that reminds us of the ones we loved and perhaps still secretly love.

The timepiece features 100 meter water resistance, which means that in addition to it’s technical aesthetic it’s also ready to get wet and wild. With 100 meter resistance, it’s suitable for almost all activities short of outright professional diving. Of course, it has an aesthetic unlike any other.

Впечатляющий 10-дневный запас хода обеспечивается благодаря двойным параллельно установленным барабанам. 10-дневный диск индикатора запаса хода расположен в положении 6 часов. Второй индикатор в положении «3 часа» становится красным, когда у механизма остается только 2-дневный запас хода, напоминая владельцу, что пришло время снова заводить часы.
